Solz gold tip scissors, also known as Kaye or Sims, are dissecting scissors used in plastic surgery procedures. The design of the shank facilitates ideal atraumatic separation of the tissue layers. Supercut scissors combine one knife-like razor edge and one micro-serrated scissor edge. These scissors can be used to cut both delicate and heavy tissue because of their unique design. The micro-serrations of the Supercut scissors minimize tearing of tissue so cuts and edges are smooth and clean.

Tungsten Carbide Insert Edge Blade
These scissors feature tungsten carbide inserts a material much tougher than stainless steel enabling the scissors to last up to 6 times longer than standard inserts. The geometrical patterns on the inserts are introduced via Creep Feed Technology.
