Mayo Dissecting Scissor a surgical instrument used for blunt as well as sharp dissection. It may also be used to cut various structures and sutures. The basic structure consists of a ring handle, shank, box-lock, and blade. It incorporates our SuperCut technology. These supercut scissors have one blade with micro serrations perpendicular to the cutting edge, and the other blade has a bevel-honed edge resulting in scissors that cut forward.
