Kaye scissors are non-ratcheted, finger ring instruments used for cutting and dissecting delicate tissue in various plastic surgery procedures. They have curved blades and are available in more than one length. Kaye dissecting scissors also come in tungsten carbide and micro-serrated versions based on physician preference and procedure types.
Tungsten Carbide Insert
These scissors feature tungsten carbide inserts a material much tougher than stainless steel enabling the scissors to last up to 6 times longer than standard inserts. The geometrical patterns on the inserts are introduced via Creep Feed Technology.
