O’Brien Stitch Scissors are primarily used for suture removal. These scissors have sharp, fine, angled tips that are used to snip the suture rather than lifting the suture slightly first, as with Spencer or Littauer stitch scissors. They are often used in dental procedures were lifting the suture may be unpractical due to location and space limitations. This product is angled with smooth, sharp/sharp tips.
