The Nussbuam intestinal clamp is a specialized surgical instrument used to grip and occlude large organs such as the loops of the intestine to achieve hemostasis. It is used during bowel resection surgery, Ca colon resection, and anastomotic procedure and gastric bypass surgery. The instrument consists of two longitudinally serrated jaws, one straight and one curved, joint by a ratchet lock. The tip is secured to prevent the avulsion of the jaws.
